REAL Toolkit and Workshop Overview
Leapfrog International has developed the REAL Trainer's Toolkit (Reinforced Experiences for Active Learning), with experienced Trainers and Facilitators to provide exhilarating sessions and workshops.
We pride ourselves on our ability to enable individuals to learn through experience. We use both well-established and unique techniques from experiential learning to memory stories and multi-sensory activities, making use of metaphors, analogies and interactive games to engage the audience and assist with their understanding.
The result is a guided journey of self-discovery where individuals can learn about themselves in a safe but thought provoking environment.
We perform both formative and summative evaluations as an explicit part of our service delivery process. Formative evaluations are undertaken during the formation and delivery of the programme, to ensure that the programme is meeting its set objectives.
For the summative feedback, we adopt the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model which measures how effectively the training programme accomplished its stated goals on 4 levels:
1. Reaction – how participants have reacted to the programme
2. Learning – what participants have learnt from the programme
3. Behaviour – whether what was learnt is being applied on the job
4. Results – whether that application is achieving results
In addition to our performance evaluations, we are also able to offer a service whereby the facilitator from each programme can commit to engaging each delegate in a follow-up discussion. This encourages commitment from the delegates to address any actions they have agreed to during the programme whilst allowing them to raise any issues that have come to light during the return to the workplace.
