Leadership
There are three fundamental stages in the development of a successful leader. The first stage is to understand more about ourselves, how we operate in the workplace and how to lead ourselves. The second stage is leading individuals, which may be a small team or a large group and thirdly leading a successful organisation.
Underpinning all stages of great leadership are the following attributes:
- A strong sense of belief in oneself
- An openness to change with the ability to listen to ideas from others
- Setting a clear concise communication process in place
- A willingness to inspire, engage and develop others
- The capacity to delegate, manage and prioritise time and performance
- A strong set of shared values
