Soap Box Derby Overview
Leapfrog International provide the opportunity to re-live your youth as you power your way to pole position and top of the podium in this fast paced event. Soap Box Derby is a fantastic fun filled outdoor Team Building event designed to get teams working together and thinking through a project.
Involving elements of design flair, innovation, creativity, money management and driving skill – all your delegates will find an area to excel in!
After completing a series of activities to earn the vital funds, teams will visit the garage, where they must decide which parts are essential purchases in building the car Soap Box that will power them to glory.
Each team builds a human powered vehicle from the parts they have chosen, visits the spray shop to add those all important go faster stripes and body panels, before submitting their vehicle for its MOT.
Finally Race Day arrives and its time for the teams to test their vehicles where it really matters – in the Soap Box Derby Team Trials! Competing against other teams in a series of professionally designed tests, who will emerge victorious for highest step on the podium?
